My gardening adventure all started with a small packet of sunflowers seeds when I was a child. As an adult, my first garden was on a second story patio, then I graduated to a small backyard plot. For the past eight years I have lovingly watched our one acre piece of earth grow into a thriving homestead garden that includes vegetables, fruits, grains, flowers, mixed borders, and more. My garden has taught me many lesson that I'd like to share with you.
